You now have the option to message your Associate's personal phone number, assigned work device, or both.
Your company's device information must be added to Hera. Devices can be added, updated, and imported from the Manage Devices option. For more information, visit this article: Importing Devices.
Daily Roster
The company devices must be assigned to an associate on the Daily Roster to message them.
Before sending Stand Up Notes, Roster Assignments, Vehicle Photo Log links, or a Custom Message, you can choose whether the message is sent to the Associate's personal phone number, the assigned work device, or both. By default, all three options will be turned on.
Previously, Associates would receive both an email and a text message when any of these messages were sent from the Daily Roster. By default, they will still receive both. The option to Email to the Associate's email address can be turned off, so an email is not sent.
The message below will be displayed whenever the option SMS to the Associate's assigned company device on the Daily Roster is turned on.
Warning: By sending messages to your shared company devices, you understand that anyone assigned the device will be able to read past messages.

Additional functionality was added to these views to inform you when selected associates have opted out of emails or SMS messages to their personal numbers. If they have opted out of emails or SMS messages, they will not receive the message you are sending. You can opt them back in from Hera by visiting their Associate details page.
Hera Messenger
Hera Messenger has been updated to allow messaging with company devices. However, this only works if the device has been assigned to an Associate on the Daily Roster.
The name of the assigned Associate will be displayed below the date the device was assigned to them.
If the company device has not been assigned, a message will be displayed letting you know the device is not assigned, so messages cannot be sent.
Company devices will display a device icon to distinguish them from Associates.
