Vehicle damage is one of the most expensive, costly items for a DSP. Taking photos of your vans every single day will document every square inch of what that van looked like so you have a daily record and can hold drivers accountable.
Here are detailed instructions with screenshots on how to find, view, edit, and delete Daily Photo Logs.
You will notice that some of the screenshots are from the mobile view of Hera (and shown in landscape view to see more). We recommend using a mobile device or a tablet to complete your Daily Photo Logs, as you can take the photos directly in Hera. This makes it much easier than taking the photos, then uploading them to Hera. If you are using this feature on a desktop, you will need the photo(s) already saved on your computer to upload them to the Photo Log.
You don't need an "app" to use Hera on your phone. Hera is already mobile-friendly and will work the same way an app would. The best way to easily access Hera on your mobile device is to add our website to your home screen. Below is an under 2-minute video explaining how-to, one for iOS and one for Android.

Vehicle Photo Log Instructions
Navigate to the Vehicle Management page. From there, select Vehicle List
STEP 2:
In the Vehicle List, locate the vehicle you want to create a Vehicle Photo Log for, then scroll to the right and select the action menu, then Add Vehicle Photo Log.
STEP 3:
The Vehicle Photo Log form will populate on the right side of your screen. Simply tap the box below, and it will open the camera on your mobile device. If you would like to use this feature from your computer, click the box and then upload the photos.
Additionally, you can add any notes to the Daily Photo Log and add Vehicle Damage at the same time (seen at the bottom of the form).
This is what your screen should look like after you have uploaded your photos to the form. You can select the trash icon if you selected the wrong one or want to delete a photo you took.
Additionally, under each daily photo log for each vehicle, it will show you the most recent photos for that vehicle. This makes it easier to spot any differences/damage between the current and previous photos.
Lastly, if you want to view, edit, or delete a Vehicle Photo Log, Navigate to Vehicle History in a van's Vehicle Details page and select the action menu next to the Vehicle Photo Log.

Vehicle Management > Vehicle List > Select the 'Paper' icon for the Vehicle Details Page (Next to the action menu in each vehicle listing) > click the Action Menu located on the top right side.
