Recurring Messages were a highly requested feature from Hera users. Something we heard a lot was, "I'm trying to remind all of my Associates to take their lunch/break, but it's so time-consuming to send it individually, and I want it in writing instead of reminding them at the in person standup meeting." This is especially important in states where a lunch break is required.
Now, with Recurring Messages, you can send automatic reminder messages to your rostered drivers daily. You can send important reminders/information. A few examples of these would be:
"Please remember to take your lunch break. It is company policy to take your break for 30 minutes."
"Daily reminder to log into Mentor & do DVIC. Stay safe and have a great day."
"This is your shift reminder. Please reply to this message that you will be at work today."
These automated messages will go to your associate's cell phone, email, or both, you decide! When creating them, the form will populate on the right side of the screen like in the screenshot below.
Assign the message a name, select the time you would like it to send, and if you would like it sent via SMS, Email, or both.

Hera will automatically send your message to Associates rostered on any given day.
Hera will not message the Associate if their status is No Call No Show, Called Out, or VTO.

INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Navigate to Company Settings in the top right corner under your User Name.
STEP 2: Once in Company Settings, navigate to Messenger in the left-side menu.
STEP 3: Once in Messenger, scroll down to Automated Recurring Messages.
To create a new Recurring Message, select the action menu in the top right of the Automated Recurring Messages, then select Create a new Recurring Message.
STEP 5: To view, edit, or delete a Recurring Message, select the action menu next to the recurring message you want to modify.
