Daily Roster: Roster Status

Updated over a month ago

The Daily Roster "Status" column was renamed to Roster Status. Roster Statuses are now highly customizable.

A Roster Status is displayed as a pill icon. They are now color-coded to help determine severity at a glance.

Default Roster Status Options

The default Roster Status options are: "Rostered," "On Time," "Late, With Call," "Late, No Call," "VTO," "Called Out, Excused," "Called Out, Not Excused," "No Show, No Call." You will see a pop-up with different options based on the Roster Status you pick.

Note: The information below describes how every default Roster Status will behave when chosen. This only applies if the defaults have NOT been edited.

  1. Rostered and Late, With Call, will have no pop-up when selected.

  2. On Time: You can state a reason for the status change and create an associate Kudo.

  3. Late, No Call: You can state a reason for the status change, create an associate Issue, create a counseling form, and replace with a standby.

  4. VTO: You can state a reason for the status change, create an associate Issue, create a counseling form, and replace with a standby.

  5. Called Out, Excused, Called Out, Not Excused, No Show, No Call: You can state a reason for the status change, create an associate Issue, create a counseling form, and replace with a standby.

Replaced Associates

There are two paths to replace a currently rostered associate with a Standby. Standbys can be added at the bottom of the Daily Rostering page.

  1. Click the Replace with Standby Associate option from the action menu.

  2. Change the Associate's Roster Status to an Inactive Type (VTO, Call Out, Excused, Call Out, Not Excused, No Show, No Call).

You will see the pop-up below. Select the "Replace with..." option and select a Standby from the list.

Click confirm, and the Associate is replaced.

Note: When an Associate is replaced, their Roster Status can only be changed to other Inactive Roster Statuses.

If needed, use the action menu to remove the Replacement Associate. When the replacement is removed, Roster Status can be changed without restrictions.

Associate Roster Status Change Log

An Associate Roster Status Change Log has been added to the Daily Roster. From there, you can see all the changes to a DA's Roster Status. This option can be found at the bottom of the DA's action menu (3 dots).

Custom Roster Status Options

The Roster Status options can be customized directly from the Daily Roster. Click on any Roster Status box to reveal the dropdown options. Click on the last option to + Add New Associate Roster Status.

A panel will open on the right side of the page where you can edit your Roster Status options. Customization options are explained in detail here.
