The Device Management view displays real-time information from Miradore/Wireless Support, giving you a single place to monitor and control your devices. Instead of switching between systems, you can see live device data and take action right from Hera. To become a Wireless Support customer, visit https://wirelesssupport.com.
Understanding the Device Table
Each row represents one device. You can scroll horizontally to see all the details, and use the search bar and filter chips at the top to quickly find specific devices by operating system or other criteria.
What Each Column Shows
Name in Hera / Name in Wireless Support
These columns show how each device is labeled in Hera versus Miradore/Wireless Support. Having both names side-by-side makes it simple to match devices across the two systems.Phone #
The phone number assigned to the device.Carrier
Which mobile carrier (AT&T, Verizon, etc.) provides service to the device.Status in Hera
Shows whether the device is Active or Inactive. An inactive status usually means the device has been retired or is no longer in use.Last Ping
How long it's been since the device last checked in with Wireless Support.Wireless Support
The current connection status—typically "Connected" or "Not Connected." Only synced devices will show "Connected."Battery Level
A color-coded bar with a percentage that shows remaining battery life.OS
The operating system and version running on the device (for example, Android 13 or iOS 16).ICC ID
The unique identifier for the device's SIM card.IMEI
The unique hardware identifier for the device itself.Notes
A space for quick comments or reminders about individual devices. When a note exists, you'll see a small clipboard icon. Hover over it to read the note. If there's no note, you'll see a dash instead.
Taking Action on Devices
At the end of each row is a three-dot action menu with several helpful options:
View Device – See detailed information about the device.
Remote Lock – Lock the device remotely if needed.
Reboot Device – Restart a device that's acting up.
Request Repair – Submit a repair request.
Change Device Status – Mark a device as active or inactive.
Rename Device in Hera – Update the device name to something more recognizable.
These actions let you handle common support tasks without leaving Hera or logging into another system.
Device Details View
At the top of the page, the device’s Hera name appears prominently with its Miradore name displayed below and, if assigned, its phone number. A Refresh button lets you pull the latest information on demand, and another three‑dot menu offers the same actions found in the list view (View Device, Remote Lock, Reboot Device, Request Repair, Change Status, Rename Device). Immediately below, a quick status bar summarizes:
Status in Hera – whether the device is Active or Inactive.
Last Ping – both a relative time (e.g., 5 hrs 25 mins ago) and an absolute timestamp (e.g., 11/10/2025, 3:06 AM).
Battery – current battery percentage.
Wireless Support – connection status (Connected/Not Connected)
The tabs Overview and Location sit just below this status bar. The Overview tab is selected by default. Location (when available) will show the device’s last known location on a map.
Overview tab contents
The Overview tab is divided into a few sections for quick reference and control.
Quick Actions
This section contains three buttons for common maintenance tasks:
Remote Lock – locks the device remotely to secure it.
Request Repair – opens a workflow to request hardware service.
Reboot Device – sends a command to reboot the device.
Device Details
This section lists identifying information. In the example device, many values were unassigned, but the fields available are:
Phone Number – the device’s assigned phone number, if any.
Manufacturer – hardware maker (e.g., Motorola, Samsung).
Model – device model.
Carrier – mobile carrier.
Operating System – OS name and version (e.g., Android 13).
Enrollment Date – date when the device was enrolled into the management system.
System Status
This area shows the device’s internal health and update status. The visible fields included:
Software Update Status – indicates whether the device is up‑to‑date or requires an update (e.g., “Update required”).
Wireless Support – repeats the connection status for clarity.
Technical Details
For more technical identifiers, this section displays:
Carrier – the network carrier.
IMEI – the International Mobile Equipment Identity number, useful for tracking the hardware in cellular networks.
Danger Zone
A clearly marked “Danger Zone” warns users that the following options are potentially destructive:
Delete from Hera – removes the device from Hera entirely.
Remote Wipe – performs a factory reset that erases all data on the device.
These options are intentionally separated from routine tasks to prevent accidental misclicks.
This detailed view complements the device list by providing per‑device context, quick troubleshooting actions, and deeper technical information. Together, the list page and the device details page allow administrators to monitor and manage their devices efficiently.
